Hello everyone!
I am so
sorry it has taken me so long to update you all. I kept thinking things would be moving faster
and I would have the studio up and running again sooner. I was hoping to be able to tell you when we
would be teaching again. Unfortunately,
that is not possible yet.
The studio
on Veterans Blvd.
received major roof damage and ruined both ballrooms including the floors,
stereo equipment and furniture. Although
we will not be reopening in the same location on Veterans, I am searching for
another location to teach from in the New
Orleans area. I
have been waiting on my insurance company who finally saw the studio 2 weeks
ago. I anticipate receiving a quick
settlement so we may get up and running again soon. I hope to be able to start out by teaching a
few days a week at first, with the hopes of going back to our regular hours
again as soon as we can. As has happened
with so many businesses, several of our teachers relocated to other cities
after the hurricane. Still, I will be
teaching and hope to have a few familiar faces teaching again as soon as
possible.
If you have
relocated to another city, your lessons are always good at any Arthur Murray
Dance Studio in the world. Just let them
know you have lessons remaining on your program here and they will contact me
for any further information they may need.
You are sorely missed and I hope to see you all dancing
again at Arthur Murray’s soon!
Best wishes
for a much better (and drier) New Year,
Margaret
